Brush Pens and Templates to help you learn hand lettering.

Hand lettering project: 3 Ways With Shadows
Simply Lettering is packed with gorgeous inspiration and practical projects to help you learn hand lettering. One of my favourite projects is Milly from Blink Lettering’s 3 Ways With Shadows.
Milly shares three different techniques for adding shadows to your lettering. You can apply them to make gorgeous hand-lettered greeting cards. Templates are included with Simply Lettering to make it even easier to learn hand lettering using Milly’s shadow techniques.
Learn colour blending
Another project in Simply Lettering that I love is Colour Blending. This ‘Masterclass’ includes step-by-step instructions for achieving stunning results with colour blending using Watercolour Inks, Two-Tone Pen Colours and Coloured Pencils. All of the materials needed for each are listed. Plus, lettering templates to trace are included with the magazine. I can’t wait to get my hands on some Chameleon Pencils and try the colour blending technique with them!
Quick and easy faux calligraphy
If you’re not ready to dive straight into traditional calligraphy or brush lettering yet, there’s a gorgeous Faux Calligraphy project to try. I often create lettering using faux calligraphy in my bullet journal. It’s a great way to experiment. Often lettering can be created more easily and quickly with faux calligraphy.
