If you’re anything like me, when the festive season rolls around, you’re excited to dive into holiday crafts, journaling, and even wrapping those special gifts with extra love! I’m so happy to share something fun and festive with you—my new collection of Christmas Printable Papers, plus a beautiful December journal cover page, all available as free downloads in the Planner Lovers Resource Library!
These designs are part of my Christmas Cheer surface pattern collection, which has a fresh, uplifting twist on traditional holiday colors. Think cool blues, soft pinks, pale green, and peachy tones mixed in with the classic red and green, giving your projects a sweet, joyful feel. The motifs are simple yet adorable: Christmas trees with wrapped presents, gingerbread cookies, candy canes paired with delicate snowflakes, and a pattern filled with Christmas sentiments in beautiful fonts.

To go along with the festive papers, I’ve also created a gorgeous A5-sized December journal cover page—perfect for marking the start of your holiday journaling! The cover features a delightful Christmas bauble filled with the words “hello December” and several of my cute motifs. Surrounding the bauble are subtle peachy-colored snowflakes, adding a soft wintery touch.
This cover page is super easy to print on standard A4 or letter-size paper, and you can cut it down to A5 size using the faint outline provided. You can also adjust the size by printing it smaller to fit into other planners or journals. It’s perfect for pasting into your journal to mark the beginning of December, and it works beautifully for a December Daily project!
What Can You Do with These Christmas Printable Papers?
Whether you’re a seasoned journaler or just love getting creative around the holidays, there are so many fun ways you can use these papers and the cover page:
- Junk Journaling & Creative Journaling
These patterned papers are perfect for adding festive flair to your journals. Use the gingerbread cookie pattern for a cute baking diary entry, or the Christmas tree and wrapped gifts pattern to document your gift-giving plans. You can cut the paper into fun shapes, layer it, or use it as background for your December daily entries. Don’t forget to start your journal with the “hello December” cover page to set the festive tone! - Christmas Crafts
If you enjoy DIY Christmas cards or decorations, these prints will give your creations a unique look! Use the candy cane and snowflake design to make festive envelopes, or cut out individual shapes to add to your Christmas crafts. The Christmas sentiments pattern is great for adding a meaningful touch to handmade cards or gift tags. The December cover can also be used as a decorative piece for gift tags or framed art! - Wrapping Small Presents
These printable papers also make for adorable gift wrap for small presents like stocking stuffers or secret Santa gifts! Wrap a cute pair of earrings in the Christmas trees and presents pattern, or make your own gift bags with the gingerbread cookie paper. You’ll add that personal, handmade touch to every gift. You could even use the December cover page as a creative wrapping solution for smaller items!
