Shabby Chic Rose Junk Journaling Collection

Over the last few months, I’ve completely fallen in love with both designing and making junk journaling-style paper craft kits. There’s something so special about the hands-on, creative process—cutting, layering, tucking in little notes and ephemera—and I’ve found so much joy in creating printable pieces that others can bring to life in their own journals and creative projects. I’ve found myself especially drawn to a style that’s vintage-inspired with a modern twist. I love the look of aged paper, vintage textures, and delicate florals in a soft watercolor style, and my designs often reflect that gentle, nostalgic charm—but always with a touch of freshness that feels light, dreamy, and inviting.

If you’ve been following along for a while, you might remember that I started offering a few of these printable journaling kits in my original Etsy shop. But as this creative side of my work began to grow, I decided it was time to give it its own space. So I opened a new Etsy shop, The Lost Paperie—a home just for these printable journaling and papercraft collections.

Since then, I’ve moved over my earlier kits and added some lovely new ones—like this one, the Shabby Chic Rose Collection, which I’m excited to share with you!

A Soft & Romantic Cottage-Inspired Aesthetic

This collection is all about soft watercolor roses, delicate pastels, and a romantic cottage feel. The colour palette includes pale pinks, dusty blues, and gentle peach tones, woven through vintage-style illustrations with a sweet, shabby chic vibe. Think rose-covered cottages, vintage armchairs, teacups and books, and butterflies fluttering across aged wallpaper textures.

The Shabby Chic Rose Collection is available as three coordinating printable products that can be used on their own or together for a cohesive look across your junk journaling or papercrafting projects.

✿ Shabby Chic Rose Junk Journal Pages

This set of six double-page spreads is designed to be the heart of your junk journal. Each page features vintage-style backgrounds with layered watercolor illustrations, aged textures, and space for you to write, embellish, or collage.

They’re perfect for printing, folding, and binding into a handmade journal—or using as background pages for your scrapbooking, journaling, or creative art projects. The soft colour palette gives everything a gentle, romantic look that pairs beautifully with florals, lace, old book pages, and other ephemera.

✿ Shabby Chic Rose Junk Journal Folio Kit

If you enjoy making pocket-style folios to store journaling cards, tags, or little notes, this printable kit is for you. It includes 12 mix-and-match pieces to help you create your own charming folio—complete with coordinating pockets and soft watercolor designs in pink, blue, and peach tones.

You can use it alongside the journal pages, or as a standalone mini project or handmade gift. It’s ideal for layering, filling with your own journaling cards and embellishments, or tucking into your larger junk journal.

✿ Shabby Chic Rose Loaded Tag Kit

This printable kit includes two styles of tag bases—scalloped and luggage-style—along with pockets and a lovely selection of matching inserts and ephemera. Designed in the same dreamy watercolor style, these loaded tags are great for junk journals, happy mail, or as a handmade gift.

You can use the pieces to create a sweet standalone tag or incorporate them into your journal spreads. The little phrases and details tie in perfectly with the rest of the collection, making it easy to mix and match.

Ideas for Using the Collection

The pieces in this collection can be used in so many creative ways:

  • Create a cohesive junk journal or add to your existing pages
  • Use the elements in creative journaling or daily memory keeping
  • Make collage pieces or mixed media art
  • Print extras to use in scrapbooking layouts
  • Send a loaded tag or folio as happy mail to a fellow crafter
  • Make a handmade gift filled with little notes and treasures

Everything in this set has been designed to work together seamlessly—but you can absolutely use any part on its own or mix it with your own stash of vintage papers and bits.
