By the time June arrives, a lot can change.
The routines that felt helpful in January might not fit quite so well now. Goals shift. Priorities change. Life gets busy. Sometimes we keep doing things simply because we’ve always been doing them.
That’s why June feels like such a good time to pause and check in.
Not to start over.
Not to overhaul your entire planning system.
Just to notice what’s working, what isn’t, and whether a few small adjustments could make things feel easier moving forward.
That’s exactly what inspired this month’s Blend Prompt Card.
As always, the card includes three simple prompts to help you blend planning, reflection, and creativity in a way that feels manageable and flexible.

PLAN
What needs reviewing or adjusting?
REFLECT
What am I learning about myself lately?
CREATE
Create a page using contrast.
(Light/dark, neat/messy, simple/bold.)
You can download the printable inside the Planner Lovers Resource Library or through my free Patreon community.
One of the things journaling does really well is help us step out of autopilot for a moment.
When life gets busy, it’s easy to keep moving forward without stopping to ask:
The June prompts are a simple way to check in with yourself without needing a complicated review process.
Just three prompts. One page at a time.
This prompt isn’t about starting over.
It’s about making small changes that help things work better.
Maybe you’ve been:
Sometimes the best thing you can do is adjust rather than abandon.
A small tweak can often create more momentum than a complete reset.
You might even discover that the thing needing adjustment isn’t your goal at all – it’s the way you’re trying to reach it.
This might be my favourite prompt on the June card.
We’re always learning things about ourselves, but we don’t always stop to notice them.
Maybe you’ve discovered:
These insights often arrive quietly.
Writing them down helps you recognize patterns and build a deeper understanding of yourself over time.
That’s one of the most valuable gifts journaling offers.
The more you notice these patterns, the easier it becomes to make decisions that genuinely support you.
This month’s creative prompt is all about contrast.
It’s a simple idea, but there are so many ways to explore it.
You could experiment with:
You might even use contrast to represent something happening in your life right now — certainty and uncertainty, rest and action, planning and creativity.
There isn’t a right way to approach it.
Just play and see where it takes you.
Sometimes the most interesting pages come from experimenting with ideas you wouldn’t normally put together.
One of the ideas behind Journablend is that planning, reflection, and creativity don’t have to live in separate worlds.
They can support each other.
You might explore the Plan prompt in your dated planner, write about the Reflect prompt in your Daily BlendBook, and use the Create prompt in your Mini BlendBook.
Or you might do all three on a single page.
The Blend Flow isn’t about following rules.
It’s about letting these different parts of your practice work together in a way that feels natural and sustainable.
Some months you’ll spend more time planning. Other months you might lean into reflection or creativity. That’s part of the flow too.

The June Blend Prompt Card is available now inside the Planner Lovers Resource Library and through my free Patreon community.
Print it, tuck it into your journal, or keep it on your desk as a reminder to pause, review, and adjust when needed.
Sometimes moving forward isn’t about doing more.
Sometimes it’s about noticing what needs to change – and giving yourself permission to make that change.
A small adjustment can go a long way.
Are you starting with Plan, Reflect, or Create? Let me know in the comments – I’d love to hear which prompt is calling to you this month!
Happy journaling x
