I know from my own journaling practice just how easy it is to lose the flow of writing regularly. What I’ve found over time is that having small starting points, and just a little structure, can really help me keep writing, reflecting, and planning consistently.
That’s really where my Pause + Plan printables began – not as a strict system or method, but as gentle touchstones I can return to whenever I need a little guidance or a way to gather my thoughts.
They were inspired by the simple brain dumps I often come back to, and gradually shaped into something with a little more guidance.

The Pause + Plan pages are a growing collection of printable journaling inserts designed to help you move through your week with more awareness, ease, and intention.
Each set follows a simple rhythm inspired by my Journablend approach and The Blend Flow:
But unlike traditional planners, these aren’t about doing more.
They’re about coming back to yourself.
Each set includes lightly structured A5 journaling pages that guide you just enough, without overwhelming you or taking away your natural flow.

We often think we need a “perfect routine” to stay consistent with journaling or planning.
But in reality, most of us don’t need more structure.
We need gentle entry points.
That’s what Pause + Plan journaling is designed to create.
Instead of asking:
“What should I write today?”
You’re simply given a soft place to begin:
This removes the pressure of starting from a blank page, while still leaving plenty of space for your own voice.

Within my Journablend system, journaling isn’t just one thing – it moves with you.
The Blend Flow is about working with your energy, not against it.
So instead of forcing consistency, it encourages a natural rhythm:
The Pause + Plan pages sit right inside that rhythm.
They aren’t meant to replace your journaling practice.
They’re meant to reconnect you with it when things feel a little scattered or quiet.

The current collection includes:
Each one supports a different moment in your week, but they all share the same intention:
to make journaling feel easier to return to, not harder to maintain.

What makes this type of journaling so powerful is its flexibility.
You’re not trying to:
Instead, you’re working with simple, repeatable moments of pause.
And over time, those small moments add up.
They help you:
It’s not about journaling perfectly.
It’s about staying gently in touch with yourself.

These Pause + Plan printables are just the beginning.
I’ll be continuing to design new themed sets as part of this collection, each one offering slightly different ways to pause, reflect, and plan through different seasons, rhythms, and life moments.
So if you love this style of journaling, there will be more to come.

If you’d like to try this style of journaling before diving into the full sets, there’s also a free Pause + Plan printable available in my Planner Lovers Resource Library and on Patreon.
It’s a simple way to experience the structure and flow, and see how it fits into your own journaling rhythm.

Journaling doesn’t have to be something you fall behind on.
It can be something you gently return to.
The Pause + Plan pages are simply there to help make that return easier – whether it’s midweek, at the end of a long week, or at the start of something new.
A small pause.
A little clarity.
And a softer way forward.
Happy journaling x
