As February approaches, it’s time for the second installment of my monthly journal cover series! This year-long project is all about making your journaling or planning experience creative, inspiring, and effortless. Each month, I’ll be sharing a hand-drawn cover page, along with tips, ideas, and prompts to help you make the most of your journaling practice.
For the February monthly cover, I’ve designed another simple nature-themed cover in the same style as January’s. These designs are perfect for creating a cohesive look in your journal or planner throughout the year.
February monthly Cover Page Design
The February cover page features a hand-drawn wreath with cute heart-shaped leaves and little circles, adding a subtle nod to the themes of love and connection that February is often known for. At the center of the design, you’ll find the words “Hello February” to welcome in the month!
This free printable is available on an 8.5×11-inch document, making it easy to print at home. You can trim it to fit your planner or notebook, or adjust the print size if needed. Whether you use it as is or embellish it with color or other decorative touches, it’s a lovely way to start your February pages.
February Journaling Prompts
To help you dive into your February journaling, here are two prompts to inspire reflection and creativity:
- Celebrate connections: Who or what brings love and connection into your life? Reflect on the people, experiences, or moments that make you feel supported and cherished.
- Mid-season reflections: How has the season been influencing your energy and mood? What small rituals or practices can you introduce to embrace this time of year?
Tips for Planning and Journaling in February
- Revisit your goals: February is a great time to check in with the intentions you set in January. Are they still aligned with your priorities? If not, adjust or refine them to better suit where you are now.
- Track small acts of kindness: Consider adding a habit tracker to your journal for small acts of kindness, either for yourself or others. It’s a meaningful way to focus on spreading positivity.
- Create seasonal spreads: Add some seasonal flair to your journal with spreads inspired by February. Think heart motifs, cozy self-care checklists, or even a list of books or movies that match the season’s vibe.
- Celebrate progress: Use February’s pages to celebrate any progress you’ve made so far this year. Acknowledge the wins, big or small, and let them motivate you to keep going.
