Drawing, doodling and sketching is a wonderful way to customise the pages of your Bullet journal. Whether you’re an experienced illustrator or just getting started, monthly drawing prompts are a great source of inspiration and encouragement. Create your own list of monthly drawing prompts, or use my list below. Twelve topics are included on my list, enough for a whole year of doodling and drawing! Performing a daily brain dump is a great way to empty the mind of thoughts, worries and to-dos. When we’re busy our minds become cluttered which leads to stress and overwhelm. We are unable to think clearly or work productively. Introducing a simple ‘brain dump’ exercise into your morning or evening ritual can really help. All that is required is a notebook, or sheet of paper, and a pen. It’s an exercise that works really well with Bullet Journaling. To help you get started I have added printable versions of the layouts that I use each day in my Bullet Journal to my Planner Lovers Resource Library.
When inspiration for a blog post strikes it’s good to have a designated place to jot down ideas. A notebook, or bullet journal, is perfect for keeping blog ideas and notes organised. Planning blog posts in the bullet journal is easy when you have a set layout to work to. Download my free bullet journal printable blog planner layouts, from my Planner Lovers Resource Library, by clicking the link below. Stick the pages straight into your journal, or use them as templates for hand-drawn layouts.
Hand drawn lettering and graphics are not essential to successful Bullet Journaling but can be a lovely addition to your pages. When getting started it is helpful to have some ideas and inspiration to draw on. Keep these free Bullet Journal printable banners and doodles handy with your journal so that you can refer to them while designing pages. Or, if you prefer not to hand-draw, turn the banners and doodles into stickers or cut-outs.
